Der Körper als Biotop-System

The Body as a Biotope System

Framework that describes the human body as a coupled milieu system: interventions act on milieus, milieus tip beyond thresholds, consequences run along chains from the cell to ecology. With an executed tipping model (§8.1) and a diagram of the milieu chain; version 1.4.

F1 FrageQuestionLässt sich der Körper für die Steuerungs- und Versorgungsfrage als System verschachtelter Milieus beschreiben, und was fügt diese Beschreibung über Organ-Sicht und Pharmakokinetik hinaus hinzu? Can the body be described as a system of nested milieus for the question of regulation and supply, and what does this description add beyond the organ view and pharmacokinetics?
G1 GegenstandObjectDer Körper als Kette verschachtelter, gekoppelter Milieus mit Aufnahme-, Ausscheidungs- und inneren GrenzenThe body as a chain of nested, coupled milieus with uptake, excretion and inner boundaries
G2 GegenstandObjectDer Darm als Grenzfläche mit Mikrobiom, räumliche Befunde aus Maus-ModellenThe gut as an interface with a microbiome, spatial findings from mouse models
B1 BegriffTermMilieu := Umgebung eines Lebewesens und zugleich deren Mitte; dieselbe Beziehung gilt nach innen, der Organismus ist das Milieu seiner Gewebe und OrganeMilieu := the surroundings of a living being and at the same time their centre; the same relation holds inward, the organism is the milieu of its tissues and organs
B2 BegriffTermBedingungsfeld := Beschreibung danach, welche Bedingungen wo herrschen und wie sie ineinander übergehen, statt danach, welches Organ für einen Effekt zuständig istField of condition := description by which conditions obtain where and how they pass into one another, instead of which organ is responsible for an effect
B3 BegriffTermGefilterter Übergang := Grenze zwischen Milieus unterschiedlicher Offenheit als Gradient mit Filterwirkung, nicht als scharfer Schnitt; Aufnahme-, Ausscheidungs- und innere Grenzen bilden eine KlasseFiltered transition := boundary between milieus of differing openness as a gradient with filter effect, not a sharp cut; uptake, excretion and inner boundaries form one class
B4 BegriffTermTopologisches Außen := das Darmlumen als den Körper durchquerender Schlauch, dessen Inhalt noch nicht aufgenommen istTopological outside := the gut lumen as a tube traversing the body whose contents have not yet been taken up
B5 BegriffTermBilanz an der Grenze := jedes innere Milieu bilanziert Zufluss, Abfluss und Umsatz über seine Grenzen, die Bilanz schließt im Verhältnis zum angrenzenden Milieu, nicht im OrganBalance at the boundary := each inner milieu balances inflow, outflow and turnover across its boundaries; the balance closes in relation to the adjacent milieu, not in the organ
B6 BegriffTermKippen := Übergang eines Milieus in einen anderen stabilen Zustand, von reversibel zu irreversibelTipping := transition of a milieu into another stable state, from reversible to irreversible
B7 BegriffTermHolobiont := Wirt samt Mikrobiom als funktionale Einheit; die starke Lesart erhebt diese Einheit zur SelektionseinheitHolobiont := host together with its microbiome as a functional unit; the strong reading elevates this unit to a unit of selection
A1 AnnahmeAssumptionEin Milieu wird vorab und unabhängig durch eine messbare Schwelle im Gradientenfeld (Sauerstoff, pH, Osmolarität) oder eine Permeabilitätsgrenze abgegrenzt; erst danach wird gefragt, wo die Bilanz schließtA milieu is delimited in advance and independently by a measurable threshold in the gradient field (oxygen, pH, osmolarity) or a permeability boundary; only then is it asked where the balance closes
In the colon of the gnotobiotic mouse, lumen and wall-adjacent region are mixed at micrometre scale, with distinct spatial distributions of individual taxa (incompletely mixed bioreactor)
S2 SatzStatementG3Im Zäkum der Maus geht die Kompartimentierung zwischen Lumen und Krypten nach Operation samt präoperativem Fasten und Antibiotika verlorenIn the mouse cecum, compartmentalisation between lumen and crypts is lost after surgery together with preoperative fasting and antibiotics
S3 SatzStatementG4Die starke Hologenom-Lesart des Holobionten als Selektionseinheit ist fachlich umstrittenThe strong hologenome reading of the holobiont as a unit of selection is contested in the field
S4 SatzStatementG3Auch Verteidiger des Holobiont-Begriffs betonen, dass Holobionten keine Organsysteme und keine Superorganismen sindEven defenders of the holobiont concept stress that holobionts are neither organ systems nor superorganisms
S5 SatzStatementG3Canguilhem fasst das Verhältnis von Organismus und Umwelt als dasselbe wie das zwischen Teilen und Ganzem eines OrganismusCanguilhem frames the relation between organism and environment as the same as that between the parts and the whole of an organism
S6 SatzStatementG3Bei Canguilhem ist Normalität keine statistische Konstante, sondern Fähigkeit zur Anpassung an ein veränderliches MilieuFor Canguilhem, normality is not a statistical constant but a capacity to adapt to a changing milieu
In the minimal coupled-milieu model the constant-rate case has one stable state; with a state-dependent boundary rate (V > 0, n ≥ 2) a bistable window and hysteresis arise (tipping up at J ≈ 1.51, back at J ≈ 0.55)
S8 SatzStatementG2Die Biotop-Lesart geht bei konstanten Raten in die Pharmakokinetik auf und fügt nur dort etwas hinzu, wo Grenzraten vom Zustand des Milieus abhängenThe biotope reading reduces to pharmacokinetics with constant rates and adds something only where boundary rates depend on the state of the milieu

H1 HypotheseHypothesisG1Die murinen räumlichen Befunde (Gradientenfeld statt scharfer Kompartimente) lassen sich auf den menschlichen Darm übertragenThe murine spatial findings (gradient field instead of sharp compartments) carry over to the human gut
H2 HypotheseHypothesisG1Die innere Grenze lässt sich in einem konkreten Fall als Übergang zwischen ökologischen Nischen lesen, ohne den Populationsbezug der Nische auf ein Kompartiment zu übertragenThe inner boundary can be read in a concrete case as a transition between ecological niches without transferring the niche's population reference to a compartment
H3 HypotheseHypothesisG1Die Frageform Verhältnis statt Eigentümer trägt auch bei der Immunabwehr an der Schleimhaut, wo eine Population an einer Grenze kontrolliert wirdThe question-form relation instead of owner also holds for mucosal immune defence, where a population is controlled at a boundary
P1 PrüfungTestFällt, wenn räumliche Untersuchungen am menschlichen Darm scharf getrennte Kompartimente statt durchmischter Gradientenfelder zeigenFails if spatial studies of the human gut show sharply separated compartments instead of mixed gradient fields
P2 PrüfungTestFällt, wenn die Lesung nur mit Übertragung des Populationsbezugs auf ein Kompartiment gelingt; dann wird die Nischen-Sprache beiseitegelegtFails if the reading succeeds only by transferring the population reference to a compartment; the niche language is then set aside
P3 PrüfungTestFällt, wenn sich die Regulierung der Mikroben-Annäherung an der Schleimhaut nicht als Bedingungsfeld (Mukus, antimikrobielle Peptide, sekretorisches IgA, pH) beschreiben lässt, ohne auf eine Organ-Aufgabe zurückzugreifenFails if regulation of microbial approach at the mucosa cannot be described as a field of condition (mucus, antimicrobial peptides, secretory IgA, pH) without recourse to an organ task
M1 MethodeMethodBegriffliche Einordnung über Canguilhems Milieu-Begriff, Prüfung an der biologischen Literatur und Abgrenzung gegen die Holobiont-OntologieConceptual grounding via Canguilhem's concept of milieu, testing against the biological literature and demarcation from holobiont ontology
M2 MethodeMethodMinimales dimensionsloses Modell dx/dt = J − g·x + V·xⁿ/(Kⁿ+xⁿ), verglichen mit dem linearen Fall V = 0Minimal dimensionless model dx/dt = J − g·x + V·xⁿ/(Kⁿ+xⁿ), compared with the linear case V = 0
X1 MessgrößeMeasureVersorgung J über die Grenze als Kontrollparameter des ModellsSupply J across the boundary as control parameter of the model
X2 MessgrößeMeasureZustand x des Ziel-Milieus im ModellState x of the target milieu in the model
L1 GrenzeLimitRahmen, keine Ontologie: die Biotop-Sicht ergänzt die Organ-Sicht und widerlegt sie nicht; Organe sind real, ein chirurgischer Zugriff braucht die Organ-SichtFramework, not ontology: the biotope view complements the organ view and does not refute it; organs are real, surgical access needs the organ view
L2 GrenzeLimitOffenheit nach außen ist stofflich-topologisch gemeint, nicht als Verschmelzung mit der Umwelt; die Sicht bleibt auf der zellulär-kompartimentellen Ebene und wird nicht auf die genetisch-evolutionäre übertragenOpenness to the outside is meant materially and topologically, not as merging with the environment; the view stays on the cellular-compartmental level and is not transferred to the genetic-evolutionary level
L3 GrenzeLimitDie räumlichen Darmbefunde sind murin und dienen als modellebene Illustration, nicht als Beleg am MenschenThe spatial gut findings are murine and serve as a model-level illustration, not as human evidence
L4 GrenzeLimitDas Modell zeigt, dass die Unterscheidung mathematisch real ist, beansprucht aber nicht, dass eine bestimmte physiologische Grenze bistabil sei; ein neuer biologischer Befund wird nicht behauptetThe model shows that the distinction is mathematically real but does not claim that any particular physiological boundary is bistable; no new biological finding is claimed
O1 OffenOpenGemessene, zustandsabhängige Raten für eine konkrete Grenze fehlen; die Immunabwehr an der Schleimhaut gilt als natürlicher KandidatMeasured state-dependent rates for a concrete boundary are missing; mucosal immune defence is the natural candidate
O2 OffenOpenDas Verhältnis der Milieu-Sprache zum Nischenbegriff nach Hutchinson ist offen und als begrenzter Test gefasstThe relation of milieu language to Hutchinson's niche concept is open and framed as a limited test
